Peace and Democracy Party co-presidents Selahattin Demirtas and Gultan Kisanak's visit to South Kurdistan began today.
Demirtas and Kisanak travelled to Hewler today to meet with Kurdish officials. The ceasefire declaration of the PKK and opening of a BDP office in Hewler is on the agenda of the two leaders.
They also will meet with the president of Federal Kurdish Region, Massoud Barzani.
BDP's parliamentary group chairman Bengi Yýldýz is also accompanying the envoy.
Last June Demirtaþ, Bengi Yýldýz and the former chairman of now-defunct Democratic Society Party (DTP), Ahmet Türk met with Barzani during his visit to Turkey.
