Azadiya Welat Mersin employee Dýlþa Ercan was detained in Mersin and arrested for “making propaganda of an illegal organization”.

Azadiya Welat employee Dýlþa Ercan, who was detained by police in Akdeniz District Gündoðdu Neighboorhod of Mersin on 24 September, was taken to Mersin Public Prosecution Office yesterday afternoon.

Without checking the assertions in the file, the Prosecution Office referred Ercan to Mersin 1. Criminal Court of Peace. After being questioned by the court, Ercan was arrested for “making propaganda of an illegal organization” and sent to Adana Karataþ Closed Women’s Prison.
