Around 300 international observers will follow the election tomorrow

Around 300 international observers will follow tomorrow's general election in 19 cities including Amed, Van and Istanbul.

Around 300 international observers will follow tomorrow's general election in 19 cities including Amed, Van and Istanbul.

The observers will be following the elections in Turkey and North Kurdistan upon the HDP's (Peoples Democratic Party) call to the international public opinion for “independent observers” to ensure a just, transparent and democratic election on November 1.

The majority of the observers is made up of mainly European parliamentarians and human rights defenders. Some of these include persons from;

French Left Party, French Communist Party, Greens/European Free Alliance (Greens/EFA) from the European Parliament, Catalan Parliament members, Basque Aralar Party, German Left Party, Cyprus AKEL Party, GUE/NGL- European United Left,  Italian General Confederation of Labour (COBAS), Socialist Left Party  of Norway, Norwegian Red Party, Danish Socialist People's Party (SF), Danish Red–Green Alliance, Swedish Social Democratic Party (SAP), Swedish Left Party, lawyers and NGO representatives from Britain and representatives of Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) from Kurdistan Regional Government.

The delegations also include unionists, local administrators, lawyers, journalists, academics and students.
