Another neighbourhood of Raqqa liberated: Spokesperson

Spokesperson of the Operation Wrath of Euphrates, Cîhan Şêx Ehmed, announced the liberation of Raqqa’s al-Suknê neighbourhood from ISIS, and ongoing fierce clashes in Amin and Mansur neighborhoods.

Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Commander Rojda Felat announced yesterday that 70 percent of the Raqqa city had been cleared of ISIS gangs.

Providing information on the latest developments in Raqqa campaign, Spokesperson of the Operation Wrath of Euphrates, Cîhan Şêx Ehmed, announced that the neighbourhood of al-Suknê in Raqqa city center has been cleared of ISIS and liberated. Ehmed said heavy fighting continues in Amin and Mansur neighborhoods of the city over the past days, adding that these neighborhoods will also be liberated soon.

Cîhan Şêx Ehmed also said that the al-Naim Boulevard, called al-Cehim by the gangs, where ISIS have been executing inhumane practices, will also be cleared of the gangs very soon.
