AKP Gürpınar District deputy chair arrested while smuggling drugs

AKP Gürpınar District deputy chair was caught red-handed and arrested while smuggling drugs.

Ahmet Kulaz, former AKP Gurpinar District chair and current District deputy chair, was arrested in a drug operation carried out by the police in Adana.

The amount of drugs seized in the operation that took place last week and which was kept secret by AKP members is unknown.

According to the information received, the vehicle carrying the drugs belongs to the Van highways. AKP member Kulaz was caught while transporting drugs in the vehicle of an official institution.

It was learned that Kulaz had a criminal record for other crimes in the past years.

AKP member Kulaz was seen often in photos with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Kulaz, who is one of the first people Erdogan meets on every Van trip, frequently shares the photos he took with the president on his social media accounts.
