MP for Bokan in the Urmia province Mihemed Qesîm Osmanî spoke in yesterday’s session in the Iranian Parliament and gave a speech protesting the Turkish state’s invasion attempt on Afrin.

Mihemed Qesîm Osmanî stated that the actions of Turkish President Tayyip Erdoğan are reminiscent of Saddam Hussein and ISIS and called Erdoğan “ISIS in a suit and tie”. Mihemed Qesîm Osmanî said, “Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s recent comments and his dare to smear Kurds is reminiscent of the cursed Saddam Hussein’s speeches and practices. Erdoğan’s comments are reminiscent of ISIS murders. To be honest, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is ISIS in a suit and tie.”

The Kurdish MP said the Kurdish people have seen many like Erdoğan and continued: “The fascist and dictatorial Erdoğan regime is attacking Syrian Kurds with great grudge. What he does there makes Saddam and ISIS look good in comparison. Erdoğan says he will crush and destroy Kurds. Erdoğan, look at history in all its phases, nobody has been able to destroy the Kurds. The Kurdish people have seen many like you. There were others greater than you, but they couldn’t destroy the Kurds either. They vanished themselves.”
