Activists in Rome protest 15 February 1999 International Conspiracy

Kurds living in Italy and their friends protested the International Conspiracy that led to the capture of Abdullah Öcalan with a march in Rome.

The International Conspiracy, which culminated on 15 February 1999, with the kidnapping of Kurdish people's Leader Abdullah Öcalan and his deportation to the Turkish state, was protested in Rome by Kurds living in Italy and their friends.

The march started in Piazza Esquilino. The crowd chanted slogans demanding the freedom of Kurdish people's Leader Abdullah Öcalan. Activists from Milan, Turin, Bologna, Grosseto, Livorno and Pisa also attended the march that ended in Piazza San Giovanni.
