Activists in Hamburg condemn Turkish invasion attacks

The invasion operation launched by the invading Turkish state against Zap, Metina and Avashin in the Medya Defense Areas was protested with an action in Hamburg.

Demonstrations to protest the Turkish state's invasion attacks on the Medya Defense Areass continue around Europe. The attacks were protested with an action in Hamburg.

Kurds and Germans joined the action which started with a minute's silence in memory of the martyrs of the Kurdistan freedom struggle in the person of HPG Command Council member Sinan Dersim (Dalokay Şanlı), who fell a martyr as a result of an air attack carried out by the Turkish state on 27 October 2020.

Speaking at the protest, female activist and writer Anja Flach condemned the invasion attacks by the Turkish army and saluted the guerrilla resistance. "Air strikes are not carried out independently of the imperialist powers," said Flach, adding that the people of Kurdistan and their guerrilla would resist.

A Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger activist also made a speech at the protest. The activist said that the youth of Kurdistan should be fighting more than ever before against the invasion attacks.
