Activists in Germany pay tribute to Cansiz, Doğan and Şaylemez

Salzgitter and Lebenstedt Berçem Cîlo Women's Assembly commemorated Sakine Cansiz, Fidan Doğan and Leyla Şaylemez who were murdered in Paris eight years ago.

PKK founder Sakine Cansız (Sara), KNK Paris Representative Fidan Doğan (Rojbin), Youth Movement member Leyla Şaylemez (Ronahi), who were murdered in Paris on 9 January 2013, were commemorated in the cities of Salzgitter and Lebenstedt in Germany.

The commemoration was promoted by the leadership of Salzgitter-Lebenstedt Berçem Cîlo Women's Council and was held in the central building.

The commemoration started with a minute's silence in memory of the three Kurdish women revolutionaries. In the short speech made afterwards, a promise to preserve the memories of the martyrs was made.

The memorial ended with the slogans "Jin Jiyan Azadî" and "Bijî Serok Apo".
