Actions in 4 Swiss cities protest Shengal genocide

The genocidal attacks in Shengal and Kurdistan were protested in the Swiss cities of Bern, Zurich, Lausanne and Wintherthur.

Kurds and their friends took to the streets in 4 cities of Switzerland to protest the Shengal massacre carried out by ISIS on 3 August 2014.

BERN

The Shengal massacre and the invasion and massacre attacks carried out by the Turkish state against South Kurdistan was protested in an action organized in Bahnhofplatz by Mizgin Women's Council in the city of Bern.

The action started with a minute silence for the martyrs of Kurdistan freedom struggle in the person of the women who were murdered in Shengal.

A theatre performance was organized representing the women who were murdered in Shengal.

Mizgin Women's Council and TJK-E activists delivered speeches calling for Kurdish national unity to defeat occupations and massacres.

Ayşe Şengali, who survived the Shengal massacre, spoke at the action.

LAUSANNE

Lajin Women's Council organised a press statement to mark the 6th anniversary of the Shengal massacre in front of Laurent Church.

WINTERTHUR

A stand was opened in the city of Winterthur to inform people about the Shengal massacre on its 6th anniversary.

ZURICH

An action was held in Zurich in front of the cantonal parliament to commemorate the victims of Shengal massacre.
