Action for lawyers Timtik and Ünsal in front of UN in Geneva

An action was organised in front of the United Nations (UN) Geneva Office for People's Law Firm (HHB) for lawyers Ebru Timtik and Aytaç Ünsal.

An action was organised in front of the United Nations (UN) Geneva Office for People's Law Firm (HHB) for two of its members, lawyers Ebru Timtik and Aytaç Ünsal, who have been turned their hunger strike into death fast on 15 February demanding a fair trial.  

Activists from Turkish and Kurdish institutions in Geneva underlined the need to accept the demand of the lawyers whose action is to ensure everyone get a fair trial rights in Turkey.  

Activists also demanded the release of political prisoners and held a minute silence in memory of those who lost their lives in the struggle for revolution, socialism and freedom.
A banner saying "We want justice" summed up the requests of the activists.

CDK Geneva co-chair Salih Saglam said in his speech that Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Ocalan and all political prisoners need a fair trial. "The fascist AKP-MHP-Erdogan regime has transferred the Imrali isolation torture and rights violations to all prisons in Turkey."
