The Operation to Liberate Raqqa continues at full speed on day 79. SDF fighters advance in the city center and deliver heavy blows to the gangs.

7 ISIS members were killed in clashes last night in the Mansur neighborhood to the east of Raqqa. Fighters advanced in the Nahda neighborhood to the west of the city and cleared several important spots. 9 gang members were killed in clashes in the neighborhood.

In clashes in the al-Barid neighborhood, one sniper and five other ISIS members were killed.

Meanwhile, ISIS gangs attempted a suicide attack on the fighters’ positions in the liberated Romaniyah neighborhood. With immediate response from the fighters, the attack was unsuccessful and 4 attackers were killed.

There were clashes in the Mirur neighborhood as well. SDF fighters advanced in the neighborhood and liberated several spots, and confiscated weapons.
