The celebrations for the 15 August 1984 Initiative continued throughout Europe with action in Paris, Marseille and Vienna.

PARIS

In Paris the celebration was held at Palace de Villiers in Villiers-le-Bel.

Cihan Çelik, Jala, Maruf, Rotînda, Çetin Zilan, Deza Amed, Zarife, Ozan Cömert and Bengi Agiri took the stage after the speeches and the minute silence for the martyrs of freedom.

Speeches were delivered by Vedat Bingöl, KCDK-E Council member, Paris CÎK Representative, FEDA Representative Şahin Polat.

The hall displaying flags and photos also housed a video of guerrillas images and messages.

MARSEILLE

In Marseille the celebration was organized by Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger. Kurdish youth were called to raise the struggle of Commander Agit and Commander Çiyager.

After a minute silence in memory of the martyrs of the revolution, speeches were delivered and music was played.

VIENNA

The 15 August Initiative was celebrated in Vienna, organized by Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger and Jinên Ciwanên Azad at the Democratic Kurdish Community Center.

The celebration opened with a minute silence and continued with a video, followed by a speech delivered by PYD Representative, Bave Ozan.

Former HDP deputy Demir Çelik also spoke at the celebration which ended with music and dance.
