The Health and Safety Labor Watch (ISIG) Assembly reported that at least 145 workers lost their lives in Turkey in March.
According to the ISIG report for March, 6 children and 4 migrants were among the 145 workers who lost their lives in one month.
The highest number of deaths occurred in the construction/road-building sector with 36.
The city with the highest number of worker deaths was Istanbul with 11.
According to the report, 13 workers lost their lives in work-related murders in Hatay, 8 in Sakarya, 7 in Bursa, 5 in Ankara, 5 in Ankara and at least 5 in Antalya.
According to the report, most of the deaths occurred in traffic/service accidents.
