The 10th Judicial Reform Package will be discussed in the General Assembly of the Turkish Parliament today.
The package, submitted to Parliament with the signature of the AKP and supported by the MHP, will begin to be deliberated in the General Assembly. During commission discussions, opposition parties voiced strong objections to the package.
The package was presented to the Parliamentary Justice Commission on May 31. In the commission, the DEM Party emphasized that the proposals it made reflect public expectations and should be included in the package. However, despite all objections, the AKP and MHP excluded the DEM Party’s and other opposition parties’ demands from the package.
