Against the attacks of ISIS gangs on Hesekê city of Rojava (West) Kurdistan, fighters of the YPG/YPJ (People's/Women's Defense Units) continue ensuring safety in the areas under their control. YPG/YPJ have taken full control in the neighborhood of Aziziyah and two villages nearby.

Security measures have been maximized by asayesh (public security) forces that have set up check points across the neighborhood to avoid a probable infiltration by ISIS gangs.

Bodies of the gang members killed in yesterday's clashes have reportedly remained in an area near the Xezel cotton shop.

It is also reported that gangs fired mortars on the neighborhoods of Muftî and Dahiyê last night, as a result of which a house was damaged.

Security measures and precautions have been enhanced in all the neighborhoods to the north of the city held by Defense Units.

Alongside the YPG/YPJ, asayesh forces, self-defense forces of communes and members of the youth's union are also taking an active part in the defense of the city and people.
