YPG: Turkish army and ISIS attack Rojava simultaneously

YPG Media Center reported ongoing attacks by Turkish army and ISIS gangs on the lands of Rojava (West) Kurdistan.

YPG (People's Defense Units) Media Center announced in a written statement that the Turkish army and ISIS gangs continued their attacks on the lands of Rojava (West) Kurdistan.

According to the statement, Turkish military forces attacked the YPG positions in Korelî village to the west of Kobanê with heavy weaponry in the evening of June 24th.

Turkish army also opened random fire on the civilians in Boban village to the west of Kobanê.

YPG stated that ISIS gangs deployed in Lower Jarablus conducted an aggression with heavy weaponry targeting the Şêxler town to the southwest of Kobanê in the morning of June 24th.

Simultaneously, a group of gang members tried to infiltrate into YPG-held areas by crossing the Euphrates but they were forced to flee after the intervention of YPG forces.
