YPG Press Office reported that the town of Ayn Îsa has been taken under control by forces of the YPG/YPJ (People's/Women's Defense Units).

The statement said that Defense Units have waged great and historic resistance in response to the attacks launched by ISIS gangs in a large area extending from Kobanê to Hesekê the day before.

YPG said that Defense Units that conducted counter-attacks and operations in all the areas after repelling the attacks to a large extend as of yesterday noon, took entire control of the town after destroying the last group of gangs stranded there early this morning.

The statement added that Defense Units have completely broken this expansive and violent attack which ISIS gangs had planned in great detail and preparation.
