YPG Efrîn Canton Command reported in a written statement that Jabhat al Nusra and gang groups gathering around it have recently increased provocative attacks and the crime of abducting civilians in Şêx Meqsud district of Aleppo and Efrîn city. The statement stressed that they will not remain silent at these crimes and will respond a probable attack most fiercely.

Remarking that most recently Jabhat al Nusra and gang groups affiliated to it have released a statement threatening to attack the Şêx Meqsud district of Aleppo, YPG vowed to not to remain silent at these threats and to give the strongest respond to any probable attack.

"No one should ever doubt that we as YPG will put up a strong defense in all the areas inhabited by our people more strongly, just like we are defending them in Rojava."

YPG ended the statement by calling on the affiliates of the Free Syrian Army and Arab people to not to be deceived by the tricks and provocations of the enemy forces and gang groups, underlining that YPG is the defense force of all peoples.
