YBŞ announces identity of a fighter who fell defending Shengal from the Iraqi army attacks

The YBŞ announced the identity of a fighter who fell a martyr as the result of the Iraqi army's attack on Shengal.

In a written statement, the YBŞ General Command announced the identity of a fighter who fell a martyr during the resistance to the occupation attacks carried out by the Iraqi army against Shengal.

The YBŞ promised that they will raise the flag of the martyrs until the end.

The statement reads as follows:

“Our comrade Şervan Êzidxan joined our ranks at the beginning of the 2014 ‘edict’ against our people. He saw the suffering of our people with his own eyes and decided to join our ranks in order to defend his people.

Since the beginning of the [ISIS] massacre in 2014, comrade Şervan has fulfilled his duties without hesitation and has successfully completed all his tasks.

Comrade Şervan played a very important role in the construction of self-defense forces. Among his friends, he was known for his hard work and enthusiasm.

He led the defense of our society from the day he joined our ranks until the day of martyrdom. The loss of our friend has been a source of great sadness for us. We convey our deepest condolences to his family and say that we will raise the flag of the martyrs.”
