‘We confront Turkish war with coexistence, unity of the components’

Intellectuals from Shaddadi warned about the dangers of the special war pursued by Turkey and its SNA mercenaries against North-East Syria, affirming their commitment to the principles of coexistence in facing it.

Speaking to ANHA, intellectuals from the city of Shaddadi in the Cizire (Jazira) region warned about the danger of the special war being waged by the Turkish occupation forces and their mercenaries in what is called the "Syrian National Army" against the region of North and East Syria, which aims to destabilize and incite strife among the components.

The awareness of the region's peoples is stronger than the seditions

Zahra Al-Awad, a member of the Building and Development Party, confirmed that the people of North and East Syria, including the Arab component, fully understand the seriousness of the special war waged by the Turkish occupation state and its affiliates in the region. “Turkey seeks to create discord among the components, especially Arabs and Kurds, to dismantle the social fabric and cause chaos. But we are more aware than to be drawn into these schemes. The components of the region are cohesive and cooperative in the face of anyone who tries to undermine our security and stability,” she said.

Coexistence is the cornerstone of the democratic nation

Fawza Al-Khalaf, a member of the Women's Committee at the Martyrs' Families Foundation, confirmed that the regions of North and East Syria have become a model for coexistence after being liberated from ISIS mercenaries, saying: "We live in these regions (Arabs, Kurds, and Syriacs...) Under the banner of coexistence, we are working on building a democratic nation based on justice and equality. This achievement was made possible thanks to the thought and philosophy of leader Abdullah Öcalan.”

She added: "We are well aware of what the Turkish occupation authorities are trying to achieve by inciting discord among the components to destabilize the security and stability of the region." However, we remain united to confront these schemes that aim to divide the components and undermine our democratic project.”

‘A united fabric in the face of the special war

Maysa Al-Hussein, a member of the Building and Development Party, emphasized the unity of the region's components despite all the difficult circumstances they face, pointing out that the special war pursued by the Turkish occupying state aims to undermine this unity.

She said: "We, the people of this region, affirm that we are a single fabric, cohesive from all components. Despite the specific wars waged against us, we remain hand in hand to build the democratic nation project that seeks to achieve freedom and equality for all.”

She explained that the awareness of the region's peoples about the dangers of this war enables them to confront it, emphasizing the importance of strengthening the bonds between the components to counter all attempts by the Turkish occupation to incite strife.
