People’s Defense Forces (HPG) Press Office has reported in its daily statement that bombardments launched by Turkish troops against Medya Defense Zones and the reconnaissance flights of Turkish aerial forces over guerrilla-held areas continue.
People’s Defense Forces (HPG) Press Office has reported in its daily statement that bombardments launched by Turkish troops against Medya Defense Zones and the reconnaissance flights of Turkish aerial forces over guerrilla-held areas continue.
HPG firstly provided information about the flights of Turkish jets over guerrilla areas:
-Over Xakurkê and Xınêre areas of Medya Defence Zones at between 00:00 – 02:00 on August 15,
-Over Zap region at between 21:00 on August 14 and 21:00 on August 15.
Regarding the reconnaissance activities, HPG reported the following flights of Turkish unmanned aerial vehicles over the guerrilla areas:
-Over Avashin area and its border line at between 03:00 on August 14 and 11:00 on August 15,
-Over Zap region at between 21:00 on August 14 and 11:00 on August 15.
HPG went on reporting the bombardments carried out by the Turkish military forces. Accordingly,Turkish jets bombarded;
- Martyr Gafur area at the border line of Avashin at 20:55 on August 14,
- Orê Hill at Zagros region border line at 23:00 on 14 August,
- Dem Hill area at 01:00 on August 15.
Regarding the bombardments carried out with mortars, howitzers and tanks from military post, HPG gave the following information:
Bombardment launched from Mamreş military post at Avashin border line targeted Mergê area at between 05:00 - 06:00 on August 15.
Bombardment launched from Yekmal Hill and Sinek Hill military posts at Heftanin border line targeted Bektorya area at between 20:00 and 04:00 in the last 4 days.
Bombardment launched from Elemun military post at Metina border line targeted Martyr Dersim and Şehidan Hill areas at between 11:00 on August 14 and 11:00 on August 15.
Bombardment launched from Eriş military post at Zap border line targeted Hill Hakan area at between 14:00 - 15:00 on August 14.
Bombardment launched from Bilican military post targeted Hill Güvenlik, Kanibihê, Hilal village, Kani Cınnetê, Garêya Piçuk, Hill Hakan and Martyr Baran Mergê areas at between 16:00 - 19:30 on August 14.
Bombardment launched from Serê Sevê and Eriş military posts targeted Cehennem Hill area at between 01:40 - 02:40 on August 15.
Bombardment launched from Bezelê military post targeted Çarçel area at 07:30 on August 15.
Random fires opened from Bilican, Eriş, Serê Sevê military posts targeted their surrounding area at different times on August 15.
