Jets of the Turkish army are shelling the areas of Gare and Metina in the guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones in South Kurdistan.

According to the information gathered from local sources, the shelling against Gare and Metina areas started following an activity of Turkish warplanes over Gare, Avashin and Basya areas as of 21:45 local time.

The intense shelling against guerrilla areas is reported to be continuing. 

In the meantime, Turkish jets are also flying over Kandil area of Meya Defense Zones.
