Turkish army increases operations and aerial activity

HPG listed the flights of war planes of the Turkish forces as follows:

-Over Kandil region of Medya Defence Forces, at between 12:30 - 13:30 and 18:00 - 19:00 on 19 June,

-Over Xakurke area at between 12:30 - 13:30 on 19 June,

-Over Avashin area at between 12:30 - 16:30 on 19 June,

-Over Heftanin area at between 14:30 - 17:00 on 19 June,

-Over Metina area at between 21:00 - 00:00 on 19 June,

-Over Zap region at between 14:00 - 15:30 on 19 June.

Concerning the drone activities, HPG gave the following information:

-Over Xakurke area at between 06:00 - 12:00 on 20 June,

-Over Avaşin area at between 03:00 - 11:00 on 20 June,

-Over Zagros region and Çarçella area at between 09:00 - 15:00 on 19 June,

-Over Zap region at between 03:00 - 16:30 on 19 June,

-Over Botan region at between 20:00, 19 June and 02:00, 20 June.

HPG further reported that Turkish soldiers opened random fire on the areas around Mamreş military post at the borderline with Avashin area of Medya Defence Zones at between 22:00 - 23:00 on 18 June, while deployment by soldiers and military armoured vehicles was also carried out from Museka to Mamreş military post on 19 June at around 11:00.

HPG also reported operations of the Turkish soldiers accompanied by village guards and special operation units. HPG said the Turkish forces launched extensive operations as well as laying ambushes in the villages of Sergeto, Qopek, Qılê, Kopeka, Zıban, Heflin and their surroundings in Ergani district of Amed, and in the villages of Xelepan, Gomaşem ve Xıraban and their surroundings in Dicle district of Amed, and in Cülüman district of Elazığ on 9 June. HPG reported that the operations were ended on 14 June without any results, while covered units remained in strategically important points to continue laying ambushes.
