In its statement, HPG said that Turkish drones carried out reconnaissance flights over Avaşin area between 12:00 on July 8 and 11:00 on July 9 and Zap area between 12:00 and 13:00 on June 9. Turkish drones carried out similar flights over Avashin area between 12:00 and 13:00 on June 9.
Turkish army’s armored vehicles and Skorsky helicopters carried out scouting missions in the Xecik and Aşuran villages of Bingöl’s Yayladere district between 05:00 and 07:00 on June 8, and Kobra helicopters flew over the Sülbüs and İsmail hills located in Yayladere on the same day. Turkish army also carried out reconnaissance missions in the Ovacık district of Dersim between 12:00 and 15:00 on June 8 with 2 Cobra and 1 Skorsky helicopters.
HPG also reported on the construction of military guard posts and stated that the Turkish army deployed soldiers near the construction of Şırtık, Sêmalê and Karpo guard posts in Amed’s Pasur district, Hegasor guard post in Amed’s Hani district, and Berdakızılağacı guard post in Muş.
HPG stated that guerilla forces carried out a warning attack on the hill where the Turkish army is constructing a new guard post near Amed’s Farqin (Silvan) district around 17:00 on June 8. HPG reported that the Turkish army burned the fields around the construction site and carried out drone scouting missions in the area right after the warning attack between 17:00 and 19:30.
