Trustee appointed to DBP-held Tutak Municipality in Ağrı

A trustee was appointed to the DBP-held Tutak Municipality in Ağrı after the police raid on the municipal building late yesterday evening.

Police forces raided Tutak Municipality’s building late yesterday evening and detained municipal employees, who were later taken to Tutak District Police Headquarters. Police also called DBP Co-mayor Fırat Öztürk, who was not in Ağrı, telling him that he was dismissed and informing him about some 'documents to be given to him’.

Within 2 hours, Tutak district governor Erkan İsa Erat was appointed as trustee to the position of the dismissed Co-mayor Öztürk.
