10-year-old Selman Ağar was hit by a bullet in the head as snipers opened fire on civilians on Nusaybin Street yesterday evening. Taken to somewhere safe after the attack, the boy could be taken to Cizre State Hospital thanks to the efforts of HDP deputies in the district. He lost his life while receiving treatment at the hospital at night.
On the other hand, a 15-year-old child by the name of Bünyamin İrci was shot by police as he attempted to go from Nur to Cudi neighborhood at around 04:00 last night during which people remained on the streets in protest against the attacks. The boy got wounded and taken by people to an area near Botan Hospital where police once again opened fire from an armored vehicle, which left the boy dead with a bullet hitting him in the head. İrci's body was taken to Şeyh Sait Mosque in Nur neighborhood.
In the meantime, another civilian by the name of Mehmet Dikmen (70) living in Yafes neighborhood, who has long suffered from heart trouble, got worse towards the morning today. His family called an ambulance which was however denied access to the neighborhood by police forces. The man lost his life early in the morning.
