Three freedom fighters laid to rest in Amûdê

YPG fighter Amed Amûdê, who lost his life in Kenterî village of Siluk on 6 June, and Erka Xweparastine (Self Defence Forces) fighters Xelîl Şêxo and Azad Mehmûd, martyred on 8 June, have been laid to rest in Amûdê city of West Kurdistan, Rojava.

YPG fighter Amed Amûdê, who lost his life in Kenterî village of Siluk on 6 June, and Erka Xweparastine (Self Defence Forces) fighters Xelîl Şêxo and Azad Mehmûd, martyred on 8 June, have been laid to rest in Amûdê city of West Kurdistan, Rojava.

The funeral for three freedom fighters was attended by hundreds of local people as well as Cizîr Canton Defense Council President Ebdilkerîm Saroxan, Martyr's Affairs Council President Rêzan Gulo and fighters from the Battalion of Self Defence Forces.

A military ceremony by Self Defence Forces was held at the martyrs' ceremony where the bodies of three fighters were taken from the health center in the city.

The ceremony witnessed statements by Martyr's Affairs Council President Rêzan Gulo, Defense Council President Ebdilkerîm Saroxan and Amûdê Meclîsa Gel (People's Assembly) member Selman Şêxê who all offered their condolences to the families of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for their lands and freedom.

Relatives of the martyrs vowed to pursue the struggle of the fallen fighters and their fair struggle for a free future.

Following the speeches, three freedom fighters were laid to rest.
