Three arrested in Nusaybin
Out of 9 people who were detained in a wave of house raids in Nusaybin district of Mardin 4 days ago, 6 were released and 3 were remanded in custody for alleged membership to a terrorist organization.

After giving their testimonies at police headquarters, the detainees were referred to the public prosecutor's office which released 6 among them and referred 3 others to the Magistrates' Court.
Remanded here in custody for alleged “membership to a terrorist organization”, the three youths by the name of Halil Oktay, Ramazan Tunç and Yakup Doğan were sent to Mardin E Type Prison.
A group of youths protesting the arrests laid barricades and closed the Midyat Road Avenue to traffic, upon which they were intervened by police forces with tear gas and water cannons.
