Thousand of people joined the march organized yesterday in Yüksekova (Hakkari) under the slogan “either freedom or nothing”.

BDP (Peace and Democracy party) Yüksekova Chairman Hüsnü Bulgan stated that Kurdish Leader Abdullah Ocalan is the only peace builder. At the press conference, BDP member Metin Yaþar spoke as follows; “To clear the way for democratic politics, Mr. Ocalan has announced unilateral ceasefires six times since 1993 and has given many opportunities for those who wanted to contribute to struggle for peace and democracy. The government and the army, however, undermined the search for peace with attacks on guerrilla forces.”

Underlining the responsibility of AKP (Justice and Development Party), CHP (Republican People’s Party) and MHP (Nationalist Movement Party) for all pains and tears to come he added; “The coalition of these three parties do nothing except from self defense against our struggle that tries to find a solution for all those who experienced pains and aching hearts. The base name of this peace searches, Abdullah Ocalan, took last steps for this subject and set a period to Turkish government. Siding with war and violence today, AKP will be the murder of each guerrilla and each soldier who will die in this war. It will also be the answerer and the reason of all social and political crises to exist.”
