The other co-mayor of Edremit Municipality also detained
Political operations against the Kurdish people are going on, now targeting co-mayors of DBP-held municipalities after the recent declarations of self-governance.
Following this morning's detention by police of Van's Edremit Municipality Co-mayor Rojbin Sevil Çetin, the other co-mayor Abdülkerim Sayan has also been taken into custody.
Sayan was detained at Van Ferit Melen Airport upon his return from Ankara.
