TEAR GAS CANISTERS THROWN INTO THE CAR
HDP MP Encü accompanied by journalists for DİHA, JİNNA, Demokrat Haber and Cumhuriyet, went to the Şirit Plateau where soldiers brutally attacked the people yesterday.
Soldiers firstly threw tear gas canisters into Encü's car on his way back from the scene where he made examinations together with journalists.
Soldiers later aimed their gun at the HDP MP as he got off the car and made an effort for a dialogue with them.
Regarding today's incidents, Encü told that; “Soldiers continued pointing their gun at me despite me saying that I am a member of the parliament. They said me 'You are the deputy of the traitors and terrorists, not ours.' When I reminded them that I was elected with the votes of the people, they battered me, saying that 'That is not something greater than the government or the state.' They later opened fire into the air near me. These were specialist sergeants and hired soldiers. They also intervened the journalists near me.”
Encü added that they would file a criminal complaint against the soldiers involved in today's incidents.
