The Press Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced the balance sheet of war in North-East Syria for February 19.
According to the statement, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries intensified the brutal attacks on northern and eastern Syria yesterday. Turkish warplanes conducted a series of airstrikes near the Tishreen (Tishrin) Dam, including multiple strikes on workers’ housing in the vicinity of the dam.
The airstrikes were accompanied by heavy artillery shelling targeting surrounding villages, causing material damage. In response, SDF fighters successfully shot down a drone belonging to the Turkish occupation attempting to strike villages near the dam.
On Qara Qwzaq (Qereqozaq) Bridge front, Turkish warplanes carried out several airstrikes on the villages of Al-Tineh and Ghasaq, as well as on Saifi Hill, resulting in damage to civilian homes and property. Additionally, Turkish forces and allied mercenaries shelled the villages of Al-Tineh, Ja’ada, Bir Hisso, Dekan, and Al-San’a, along with the Saifi Hill and Qara Qwzaq Hill, using heavy artillery, tanks, rocket launchers, and mortars. More than 40 shells were fired indiscriminately, causing extensive damage to civilian homes and properties.
At 7:30 PM yesterday, Turkish occupation warplanes launched an airstrike west of Ahmed Mounir Palace in the town of Sheikhler (Al-Shuyoukh), west of Kobani, resulting in material damage.
Meanwhile, on the Deir Hafer front, Turkish occupation UCAVs remain active in the area’s airspace. Another drone attempted to bomb the SDF forces’ positions but was successfully shot down by the SDF fighters.
