The Kurdish and Arab people who fled to North Kurdistan and Turkey following the ISIS attacks, are now returning to Rojava as security has been sustained in the region by the YPG/YPJ forces.
The Kurdish and Arab people in Mardin and Şırnak provinces in North Kurdistan have applied to the city governorates and the police offices to return, and are then taken to the border under the supervision of the security forces.
According to reports from the region, thousands of people have returned to Rojava so far from Mardin and Şırnak, crossing into Rojava from the border area between the Cizre district of Şırnak and the Nusaybin district of Mardin under the supervision of soldiers.
