Turkish Police attacked a Kurdish demonstration in Doðubayazýt district of Aðrý province, which was held in order to protest the brutality of the Turkish army against the bodied of Kurdish rebels who lost their lives in Semdinli district on Hakkari on 5 July. Kurdish MP’s Fatma Kurtulan and Özdal Üçer were also present at the protest.
In respond to the water canon and tear gas attack by the police youth threw stones and gas bombs to the police.
It is reported that the youth blocked roads in the town and the clashes between the police and the demonstrators continues.
