PJAK: we need to create a united front

In an open letter released today, PJAK (Party of Free Life in Kurdstan) has appealed to all the organizations and people in Iran and East Kurdistan. In the letter, PJAK analize the aggressions carried out against not only PJAK itself by all of the people of Iran and the Middle East folks. PJAK asked all sides, especially all Kurdish powers, to take this danger seriously under consideration and to develop an all-round political attitude.

In the letter PJAK also underlined the work carried out by trilateral coalition involving Turkey, Iran and Syria and said: “The main aim is to eliminate the Kurdish freedom movement. As a first step, this trilateral coalition is trying to divide Kurds into ‘good Kurds and bad Kurds’. This - PJAK wrote - is to create hostility between these groups and allow them [the trilateral coalition] to unfold their plan and put it into practice."

PJAK pointed out the aggressive attitude of the Iranian regime, more aggressive than ever, it conceded, and warned against a possible bloodbath, adding: “The regime sees those who aren’t like itself as ‘enemy of God’, ‘separatist’, ‘separatist supporters’, ‘factious’, ‘terrorist’ and ‘anti-revolutionary’. So, all dissidents, no matter their ethnic, religious, sect or political affiliation, are under threat of being eliminated by the Iranian regime".

To counter this appalling scenario PJAK underlined the need for cooperation and coalition involving all circles. “The only way to stop these attacks is to build up a strong confederation, a front among the Kurdish powers and Iranian dissidents on the basis of the communion and the brotherhood of all people."
