PJAK commemorates three guerrillas martyred in 2016

The Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK) commemorated three guerrillas who were martyred in an air strike of the invading Turkish state in 2016.

In its written statement, PJAK commemorated the guerrillas Gülnaz Elipor (Bêrîvan Hejar) Emrah Türek (Şiyar Wan) and Ferzad Kerîmi (Hêja Med) who were martyred in a Turkish air attack against the Medya Defense Zones in 2016.

PJAK said, “As a revolutionary mother, Heval Bêrîvan opposed the oppressive male mentality. She joined the guerrilla in order to take revenge on the Iranian regime and the malestream. Her horizons were expanded with her participation in the guerrilla ranks and she fulfilled her responsibilities as a leading militant in all the activities she took part in. She was always a source of energy, will, companionship and learning for her comrades.”

PJAK said that guerrilla Shiyar Wan joined the guerrilla with a patriotic conscience: “Comrade Şiyar was a friend from Van. Although he was a native of Northern Kurdistan, he joined the struggle of the people of Eastern Kurdistan with great dedication and national consciousness by crossing the borders with his love for the lands and people of Eastern Kurdistan. With the spirit of youth and the ideas of Leader Abdullah Öcalan, he undertook organizational activities for a long time. He organized the Kurdish people. "

The statement said the following on Hêja Med: “Martyr Hêja Med was a young comrade on the path of freedom and truth. He was born in Southern Kurdistan. He had to migrate to Eastern Kurdistan at an early age with his family. At a very young age, he rebelled against the colonialist system and took part in the ranks of freedom. He always wanted to take revenge on those who invaded Kurdistan.”

PJAK concluded that; "We commemorate all the martyrs of the Kurdistan revolution in the persons of Martyr Berîvan, Martyr Şiyar and Martyr Hêja. We will keep their memories alive in our struggle against occupation and fascism.”
