Jets of the Turkish army are now shelling the Kandil area of the guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones in South Kurdistan.

The Gare and Metina areas in Medya Defense Zones have also been targeted by Turkish warplanes for the last several hours.

The bombardments by Turkish military came after an activity of Turkish jets over Gare, Avashin and Basya areas as of 21:45 local time today.
