A youth from Rojava by the name of Hüseyin Ahmet was killed and a kid by the name of İbrahim Bulca was wounded as a result fire opened by police in Nusaybin district of Mardin.

As genocidal attacks by AKP's state forces against Kurdish people get heavier, police opened cross fire on a group of minors who lit a fire on Sakarya Avenue between Selahattin Eyyubi and Yeni Turan neighborhoods late Wednesday.

While police fired on people from a location outside the curfew area, the attack left Rojava citizen Hüseyin Ahmet wounded in the belly and 12-year-old İbrahim Bulca in a leg. Ahmet was on his way home after leaving work.

While both were rushed to Nusaybin State Hospital and taken under treatment, Ahmet succumbed to his wounds despite all the medical efforts. Ahmet is reported to be married and have children.

Police forces blockaded the hospital after the incident.
