One Turkish soldier killed in Ağrı

Guerrillas continue their actions against the occupant Turkish army in Kurdistan territory.

According to a statement released by the Press Office of People’s Defense Forces (HPG), guerrillas carried out an action against the Turkish military units partaking in ambushing activities in Gürbulak and Kirê Hallac areas in Doğubeyazıt district of Ağrı at 10pm on December 13.

One Turkish soldier was killed as result of the action.

HPG also reported that the Turkish army carried out airstrikes on Zap region of Medya Defense Zones in southern Kurdistan on December 14.

According to the statement, Turkish jets bombed Karker area at 09:30, Saca area at 15:30, and the areas of Sida, Geliyê Balında, Kunişka, Small Cilo and Marty Adıl at between 16:00 and 17:30.

The bombardment caused material damage on the vineyards and orchards of the local people.
