In Cizre district of Şırnak,neither the results of the state terror nor the number of wounded cannot be clarified for the past two days.

The concrete truth regarding the situation in the district is that snipers and special operation teams are shooting at anyone who goes out as the curfew still remains in effect. In the mean time, phone and internet lines also remain cut to hinder the exposure of the situation and any communication with the outside world.

SNIPERS POSITIONED IN EVERY STREET

HDP Amed deputy Sibel Yiğitalp, who is currently in the district, said the followings on her Twitter account; “Nobody has security of life in Cizre. Snipers have been positioned in every street. Neither can the bodies of those killed be taken, nor can the wounded be taken to hospital.”

A delegation of 5 HDP deputies has in the meantime been denied permission to enter the district. HDP Urfa deputy Leyla Güven , who is also taking part in the delegation, said the followings; “Security forces have blocked the hospitals and are not allowing the removal of the bodies of casualties. Some people calling us from Nur and Cudi neighborhoods tell that they cannot go out even to take those wounded outside in the attacks. They say police are shooting anyone that goes out, and that they have no proper information as to how many people have died or got wounded.”

HDP Şırnak MP Ferhat Encü stated that police blocked entrance to Nur and Cudi neighborhoods, and both electricity and water was cut off across the district.
