Nine days of chemical attack on Girê FM

The Turkish army attacked the tunnels in the Girê FM Resistance Area 71 times in total between 30 May and 7 June, using only poisonous chemical gas and banned explosives.

The genocidal attacks carried out by the Turkish army in South Kurdistan and Medya Defense Areas with the support of NATO and KDP have been going on for 3 years and 4 months. HPG and YJA Star guerrillas are displaying historical resistance during this period.

The Turkish state tries to liquidate the guerrillas with its attacks on South Kurdistan and Medya Defense Areas. It wants to create a buffer zone in the occupied areas, move towards Mosul-Kirkuk, which is within the borders of the National Pact, and thereby exert more pressure and control on Baghdad.

For this reason, it is carrying out the heaviest and most brutal attacks in history. Guerrillas are displaying a historical resistance against those attacks. This resistance has been going on for four years, and for the last three years, in particular, the war in Zap, Metîna and Avaşîn has been going on with semi-mobile guerrilla teams in the field based on tunnel resistance.

The NATO army is stopped and resistance is being put up against the bombardments using the heaviest poisonous chemical gas in history, banned explosives, and all kinds of technology from air and land. Guerrillas not only stand and resist these genocidal attacks, but also organize themselves and respond with actions.

Girê FM area, an example of resistance

Martyr Delîl in Girê Martyr Munzur in the Girê FM Resistance Area of Western Zap Province has been hit by poisonous chemical gas, tactical nuclear bombs, tanks and artillery, explosive-laden drones and warplanes non-stop for exactly 3 years and 4 months.
