The policy of indiscriminate and mass detentions implemented by the Turkish police against Kurdish people does not cease. This morning 14 people were detained in simultaneous raids on houses in Þýrnak.

Anti-Terror (TEM) Branch units of Þýrnak Police Department carried out the raids in the early hours of the morning. The 14 people arrested were given no explanation as to the reason for their detention. They have been taken to Þýrnak Police Department.
