According to information received from local sources, the special operation unit which is operational in the Cudi Mountain region of Þýrnak was attacked by HPG (People Defence Forces) guerrillas on Friday evening at around 22:00 (Turkish time). There are no information about casualties or injured. The clash with heavy weapons lasted nearly half an hour.
