A new group of NGO's asked for peace and for an end of the military operations. "Turkish Military Forces (TSK) should stop the operations, Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) should solve the problem" said 118 NGOs Van Branches in a joint statement. The statement followed that by 40 other ONG's joint statement on the same issue. The 118 NGOs also demanded the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) to call for an inactivity period.

Human Rights Association, various human, women, children and prisoners rights association, trade unions, confederations and chambers joined the press conference of 118 NGOs Van Branches.
