Meeting of the platform on the democratic future of Syria, in which many Syrian opposition groups participate, began in the Rimêlan town of Rojava’s Girkê Legê city. Concepts of nation state, democratic federalism, democratic autonomy administration and democratic nation will be discussed during the two day-long platform held in Aram Tigran Culture Center.

Preparation committee member Dîrok Mela Resûl gave the opening speech of the platform today, and Cizîr Canton Co-President El-Şêx Himêdî Deham El-Hadî addressed the participants of the platform. In his speech, El-Hadî stated that the peoples of Syria have high hopes for the platform, and wished for a political solution to the crisis in Syria.
