KDP administration prevented the passage of 11 YPG/YPJ fighters, who had died as they were fighting ISIS gangs in Kobanê and Cizîrê cantons, into North Kurdistan through Sêmalka Border Gate and South Kurdistan.
PEOPLE GATHERED AT THE BORDER GATE
Thousands of civilians from Dêrik and Girkê Legê gathered at the Sêmalka Border Gate in order to bid farewell to YPG/YPJ martyrs Hüseyin Gökalp (Rustem Cûdî), Yakup Türkan (Tekoşer Nisêbîn), İsmail Ataman (Dilşêr Botan), Mahsum Seçen (Zerdeşt Avesta), Fatma Dalmîş (Mezra Botan), Hazal Eren (Newroz Botan) Necla Yilmaz (Tekoşîn Nûda), Emine Denîç (Bêrîtan Gap), Ayşe Kaçar (Bêrîtan Gabar), Delet Toran (Bêrîtan Zîlan) and Adem Tankan (Devrim Sipêrtî). People protested the KDP decision to ban the passage of YPG/YPJ martyrs through the border gate.
