HPG (People's Defense Forces) Press Office reported that Iranian Pasdaran (Revolutionary Guards) launched an operation targeting guerrilla zones yesterday.

HPG said that the operation which started at 9 am in the morning targeted the guerrilla areas in the rural area of Urmiya's Erbîlan village.

Guerrillas responded to the Pasdaran fighters as they attempted to continue the operation with heavy weaponry at 11 am.

Following intermittent howitzer, mortar and heavy weaponry attacks, Pasdaran army retreated the operation which remained inconclusive at 2 pm in the afternoon.
