Intense aerial activity by Turkish military

People’s Defence Forces (HPG) Press Office has reported in a written statement that the aerial activity of the Turkish forces over guerrilla areas continues increasingly.

People’s Defence Forces (HPG) Press Office has reported in a written statement that the aerial activity of the Turkish forces over guerrilla areas continues increasingly.

HPG reported intense aerial activity of the Turkish forces in today’s statement on its website. Accordingly, Turkish war planes carried out the following flights:

-Over Gostê area at the border of Xakurke area of the Medya Defence Zones at between 11:00 - 15:00 on 14 July,

-Over Çarçella area at between 20:00 - 21:30 on 14 July,

-Over Avashin area at between 20:00 - 21:30 on 14 July and at between 01:00 - 02:00 on 15 July,

-Over Çırav and Besta areas of Botan region and Martyr Baran area of Farqin district of Amed at between 20:00 - 23:00 on 14 July.

Regarding the drone activities, HPG gave the following information:

-Over Xakurke area at between 04:00 - 15:30 on 14 July,

-Over Zap region and the border line at between 20:00 - 00:00 on 14 July and at between 03:30 - 11:00 on 15 July,

-Over the areas to the south of Muş at between 11:00 - 17:00 on 14 July and at between 08:00 - 11:00 on 15 July,

-Over Martyr Baran area of Farqin district of Amed at between 06:00 - 21:00 on 14 July,

-Over Martyr Remzi area in between Lice, Kulp and Genç districts of Amed at between 11:00 - 13:00 and 15:00 - 18:00 on 14 July,

-Over Martyr Serxwebun, Martyr Serhat and Apê Musa areas of Lice district of Amed in the last two days.

-Over rural areas of Bingöl at between 07:00 - 11:30 on 14 July,

-Over Sorxan area of Bingöl at between 20:00 - 13:00 on 14 July.

HPG further reported that a large group of special operation teams have been deployed to Gitê battalion in Silopi district of Şırnak from the Şırnak city centre on 14 July. Additionally, Turkish soldiers laid ambushes around the thermal plant and the oil well in Gitê town of Silopi at between 20:00 on 14 July and 02:30 on 15 July.
