People’s Defense Forces (HPG) Press Office reported in its daily statement that Turkish troops carry out bombardments against Medya Defence Zones heavily relying on howitzer and mortar fires.

According to the information provided by HPG Press Office, Turkish troops carried out the following bombardments with howitzer and mortar fires as well as tanks on the following areas:

Bombardments launched from Mamreş, Bêzok, Grana and Musakka military posts located at the Avashin border line targeted Mêrge, Xwedê Hill and Hoppê areas at between 23:00 on August 10 and 02:00 on August 11,

Bombardment launched from Oremar military post in Yüksekova district of Hakkari targeted Martyr Gafur area at between 22:00 - 23:00 on August 11,

Bombardment launched from Aruş Hill military post at Metina region's border line targeted Martyr Agır area at between 20:00 - 21:00 on August 11,

Bombardment launched from Eriş military post at Zap region's border line targeted Dola Şifreza area and Hakan Hill at between 13:00 - 16:30 on August 11,

Bombardment launched from Eriş military post targeted its surroundings at between 19:00 - 23:00 on August 11,

Bombardment launched from Bilican military post targeted its surroundings and Güvenlik Hill at between 17:00 - 21:00 on August 11,

Bombardment launched from Bilican military post targeted Gareya Mezin area at between 06:00 - 07:00 on August 12,

Bombardment launched from Remo Hill military post at Zagros region's border line targeted Derte Hill, Martyr Hozan Hill and Veregol Castle at between 21:00 - 22:30 on August 11,

Bombardment launched from Bezelê military post targeted Dola Mehendê and Dola Kewê areas at between 20:00 - 22:00 on August 11,

Bombardment launched from Bespin military post located in Silopi district of Şırnak targeted Cudi area at between 10:00 on August 11 and 11:00 on August 12.

Reconnaissance flights over guerrilla-held areas continue

HPG Press office went on reporting about the reconnaissance flights of Turkish unmanned aerial vehicles. Drone activities took place over the following guerrilla areas, according to the statement of the HPG:

-Qandil region of Medya Defence Zones at between 05:00-14:00 on August 11,

-Gare area at between 16:00 - 17:00 on August 11,

-Metina areas border line at between 21:00 - 23:00 on August 11,

-Avashin area at between 22:00 on August 11 and 02:00 on August 12,

-Zap region at between 03:30 - 04:30 on August 12.

HPG lastly reported that Turkish war planes carried out flights over Avashin area of Medya Defence Zones at between 22:00 - 22:30 on August 11.
